This article is intended for event organizers utilizing lead retrieval services at their virtual/hybrid event(s).
As an event organizer, you have full control over the registration data collected from your attendees and how it's shared with exhibitors attending your event. When attendees interact with a virtual booth, Boomset's virtual solution categorizes those attendees into different stages. The stages include Visitors, Inquiries, Connections, and Meetings. Each stage represents a different type of interaction the attendee decided to participate in.
Visitors - Attendees who have clicked on the virtual booth and may have viewed what was set up by the exhibitor. i.e. the About, Video, Photo, and Resources sections.
Inquiries - Attendees who have decided to chat with the staff within the virtual booth.
Connections - Attendees who have decided to Connect & Drop their business card.
Meetings - Attendees who have decided to schedule a meeting with the staff at that booth.
With that background, it's important for you as the organizer to decide what registration information you want to share with exhibitors when attendees have:
- become an inquiry (Chatted with the staff)
- become a connection or set a meeting (Clicked on "Connect and Drop Business Card" or Booked a meeting.)
When an attendee has started to chat with the exhibitor staff within the booth, the exhibitor's lead report will be populated with that attendee's Virtual Community Searchable fields. You can update those fields in the Manage > Registration Form > Virtual Community section of the event, see screenshot below. Both Standard and Custom questions/answers can be shared if you would like.
When an attendee has clicked on "Connect and Drop Business Card" and Booked a meeting, the exhibitor's lead report will be populated with that attendee's Lead Retrieval Visible fields. You can update those fields in the Manage > Registration Form > Lead Retrieval section of the event, see screenshot below. Both Standard and Custom questions/answers can be shared if you would like.
