You can still print badges and check in attendees without internet. Keep in mind it will not sync with your event until you re-establish an internet connection. You can still add walk-ins to your event but you must turn on the Offline Walk-in's feature.
Offline walk-ins need to be enabled from within Registration > Settings. Otherwise, they won't be able to add any walk-ins until an internet connection is established.
You must have an already established connection between your router and iPad.
If your iPad ever disconnects from your router at any time, you can go back into iPad’s settings, go to the WiFi options, and select the network being used with your router to reconnect to that router even if the router has no access to the internet.
Now, if you re-open the Boomset app, you can continue printing badges without internet.
Although this is possible, we recommend maintaining a strong internet connection throughout the Event whenever possible.
Note: you cannot log out of your account until you’ve reconnected to a wireless network and synced your event.
